Training and Assistance in Integrated Management of Childhood Illness for Pneumonia and Diarrhea Cases

Latar belakang: IMCI diresmikan oleh WHO dan UNICEF pada tahun 1990 untuk meningkatkan kelangsungan hidup bayi balita di negara berkembang. Keterampilan tenaga kesehatan menjadi salah satu komponen memberikan pengaruh terhadap angka kematian balita. Tujuan: Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah kemampuan penanganan pneumonia diare Kabupaten Tegal Grobogan. Metode: Metode dalam kegiatan pendampingan melaui langkah identifikasi, sosialisasi, penyampaian materi, diskusi, pendampingan, monitoring & evaluasi Dinas Kesehatan secara berkala. Berisi metode penelitian/ pengmas yang dilaksanakan. Hasil: Hasil Pelatihan ditemukan bahwa beberapa Puskesmas tidak yakin/ragu-ragu ketika akan melakukan klasifikasi kasus pneumonia, sehingga temuan cukup kecil. Kelengkapan prasarana puskesmas juga belum terpenuhi sesuai buku bagan MTBS. Kesimpulan: perlu melengkapi pelatihan berkala menunjang pelayanan tatalaksana MTBS terkait
